Our TEFL (Teaching English as Foreign Language) programme is a teacher training course for beginner or experienced ESL teachers to either learn the skills of ESL teaching or to improve pre-existing skills.

The full TEFL Certification is a 120 hour course
Lanka TEFL Training Institute (LTTI) certification guarantees recognition and job placement worldwide
A 20 hour monitored teaching practice with actual students and who have a variety of levels and ages is a part of this course
Each course is capped at 12-15 participants

For Foreign Applicants:

You must be 21 years old by the course start date
You must have a high level of competence in all aspects of English

No previous teaching experience required
You do not need previous experience in teaching English

What`s Included

We offer an orientation programme to our international students at no extra cost. We also welcome our students at Colombo airport for free.

Day 01:
Arrival in Sri Lanka. Greet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. Free time for the rest of the day.

Day 02:
Whole day at Mount Lavinia Beach for fun and relaxation.

Day 03:
Cultural awareness training and Colombo city tour (1 day)

Day 04:
Start of Lanka TEFL Training Institute (LTTI) TEFL course.
