We offer an excellent, 120 hour, full-time in-class TEFL course designed with the practicalities of teaching people from different cultures in mind.

The course covers all relevant aspects of teaching such as
- lesson preparation
- classroom management
- grammar and phonology
- teaching practice and observation
- student profiles
- teaching techniques
- language awareness
- textbook reviews
- feedback and testing
...and many more.
Our emphasis is on equipping trainees with the real skills required to teach in the often difficult circumstances they will face in the EFL/ESL industry. Class schedule
Course duration: 4 weeks
Dates: 04-15 December 2017, 03-16 January 2018, 05-29 March 2018
Classes per week: 30 lessons per week (each lesson lasts 60 min)
Class days: Monday - Saturday

Class times:
Morning session 08:30 AM - 12:40 PM
Lunch 12:40 PM - 01:30 PM
Afternoon session 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM

Class schedule may change depending on availability and season.

Highlights

BLI trains teachers with a 120 hour TEFL course which will introduce teaching methodology and provide a foundation in teaching English as a second language. We provide an overview in lesson planning, grammar, methodology, vocabulary, and we promote allowing trainees to gain actual experience in the classroom. Trainees will graduate with the knowledge to tackle any obstacles they may face in the EFL/ESL industry. Graduates of this programme have gone on to teach in widespread areas including South Africa, Korea, China, Germany, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Russia.

Qualifications

Class level:
High Intermediate and Advanced

Before getting started you need to absolve a placement test at Bay Language Institute. Once you passed this, you can apply for the course.
