The main goal of the 20-hour weekend classroom part of the course is to show you the basics of TEFL. You will get the opportunity to learn through group work and gain peer-to-peer teaching experience. This should help build your confidence to a level that you feel comfortable to stand up in front of your first class.
The other 100-hours are online and cover the theory of TEFL in detail, such as teaching methods and grammar, and has 10 exams and coursework assessed modules. You have up to 6 months to complete the online course, but the average student completes the course within 4 - 6 weeks.
