Qualifications

The Cambridge Delta is probably THE most respected professional teaching qualification in English Language Teaching - aside from an MA or higher of course. It is a requirement in many jobs overseas, particularly those that involve course planning, academic management, senior teacher positions and director of studies posts.

According to Offqual, the British Education Authority, it is a Level 7 qualification which brings it up to post graduate level.

Although the Diploma on its own is not an MA, it does give its holders the opportunity to follow a masters and gain credits in most UK based universities.
