4-Week intensive 120 hour TEFL Course on Koh Samui

Description

The Samui TEFL course is 4 weeks, Mon to Fri, generally from 8:45am to 2:45pm. Your certificate is for the standard 120h course, including a minimum of 8 hours of practicals. The first week consists of mostly theory and weeks 2 - 4 are a combination of theory and practical training and other assignments. We limit our numbers to small groups, so that we can offer personal assistance with lesson planning and any area you may need help with such as grammar, etc.

Our practical training will include all ages, ranging from young children, preteens, teenagers as well as adults. We do our teacher practicals at ISS - The International School of Samui, Oonrak private school, Plai Laem and Watsanti Temple Schools, the So Fun Nursery, as well as local businesses. Should your course take place over a school holiday, we will use the same children, but teach them in the form of a summer camp.

Highlights

Kathryn Webb is our trainer, and she’s highly qualified to teach the course. After she left the United States 20 years ago, she moved to Italy. She has a degree in psychology as well as a DELTA (Diploma of English Language Training to Adults) and a CELTYL (Certificate of English Language Training to Young Learners). She is qualified to teach a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Prior to moving to Samui, Kathryn owned a renowned language school in Italy for nine years. Her company, Language Studios, trained instructors and placed them in positions at Italy’s top fashion houses and other businesses. What`s Included

This includes airport collection, a teacher's bag full of stationery and supplies and a welcome lunch during the first week of your course. All course materials are included. At the end of the course you will receive not only your certificate, but also a letter of reference and a detailed report of your progress.
