I’m a non-native English speaker (NNES), so I was concerned it would be difficult for me to find a job. I also was making a career change. I had no previous teaching experience.

These issues led me to Vantage. In a lot of their reviews, non-native speakers were talking about the advantages of not being a native speaker of English. This was new as I had never really thought there were any advantages of being a non-native speaker.
I pretty much decided then and there that these were the guys for me.

In learning how to teach, Vantage built a solid foundation. I first learned how to create effective lesson plans. They reviewed my lesson plans and their feedback led (eventually) to a really great approach a language lesson. Then during my observed practice teaching classes, the theory I learn in the TEFL course met the demands of my students. The detailed feedback I got after each lesson made me better. After each teaching practice, I grew in confidence. At the end, I felt I was pretty much ready to teach anyone.

Vantage was superb in their job preparation. During my last week, we created my own personal Power Resume and Cover Letter. I was coached in effective interview techniques. Something must have worked. I got hired the Monday after my Friday graduation. The school wanted me to start immediately!
