Position: Full time English language teacher

Join the Harbin English Learning Center and help to teach children aged 3 to 18. We are currently interviewing for dynamic, energetic, and motivated English instructors. You will have access to our high quality teaching materials and resources as you teach young learners. Contribute to cross-cultural exchange as you provide professional English training with enthusiastic students.
Harbin English Learning Center boasts a team of fantastic instructors who are passionate about passing on knowledge and support. Currently, there are over 450 students who are ready to be led by you into a brighter future. Cambridge appointed us as the only school in all of Heilongjiang Province and Harbin City who are authorized to hold their examinations including TKT, FCE, PET, and KET. This is a source of pride to us as we continue to provide excellent service to our students.
Our goal in the classroom is to captivate our students by using interactive methods and a communicative approach to make this an interesting course. We provide opportunities for students to interact with foreign teachers since our class sizes are small with about 8 to 12 students. “Faces”, “Beeline”, and “Quick Smart English” are some of the course materials used. We feature an array of supplementary and teaching resources that will help your time in the classroom. Professional training and regular workshops are provided to help our instructors continuously improve.
The City of Harbin
Harbin is a beautiful city renowned for its famous Snow and Ice Festival. A great place to learn Mandarin, residents find a lot to experience and do, including ski resorts. It is also near to Inner Mongolia, Korea, and Russia and is a great base for weekend or weeklong excursions.
Responsibilities

- Be engaged with the development and welfare of students
- Find learning objectives and means to accomplish them through motivating students
- Use the theory of multiple intelligences when lesson planning
- Prepare teaching materials and plan lessons in advance
- 40-hour work week including hours teaching
- Maximum of 22 teaching hours each week

Qualifications
Requirements-Bachelor’s degree
-Native English speakers preferred but candidates with fluent English and clear accent are welcome to apply
-TEFL certificate preferred (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
-Experience teaching young learners preferred
-Professional, dynamic and culturally aware
-Creative, motivated and excellent team players
-Good positive attitude, committed and possesses real empathy towards young learners
What`s Included
-Excellent salary: 7,000 – 8,000 per month (depending on qualifications and teaching ability)-Airfare allowance provided: 9,000 RMB (half after 6 months and the remaining half after contract completion)
-Accommodation allowance: 1,500 RMB per month
-Performance bonus: up to 8,000 RMB annually
-Loyalty bonus: up to 1,000 RMB
-Bonuses paid every two months related to group sizes and retention
