Affordable Teach English Program in Spain

Program Description

University students who are interested in teaching local families and living in a homestay should consider this teach abroad opportunity.

Students will provide conversational English classes or in their native tongue to host family members in return for room and board. This will be a great way to engage in cultural exchange and learn about local customs, language, and cuisine. This will be a memorable experience and a way for you to really understand what it is like to live in Spain as a local.

This program is open for 4, 8, or 12 weeks. Student tutors will help their host family with English classes for up to 15 hours each week.

Qualifications

Choices for the locations and host families are primarily based on availability, student background and preference as stated at the time of booking. We have many years experience of placing overseas students. We feature years of expertise in Intercultural Education and therefore we are better able to match a tutor application to a family than a student or parent. It cannot be guaranteed that a tutor can be placed in a chosen location; however, we will always try to accommodate the preferences of the early applicants when making our selection.
