Program Description
Join the San Sebastián program and learn about the cultural diversity within the Basque region of Spain. Increase your Spanish language abilities while also being immersed in the Basque language and culture. You will be surrounded by a mix of students from both the United States as well as European countries.
This is a program that is most suited for students who are interested in European Studies or in the Spanish or Basque languages. We offer an intensive language course that will allow students to spend one semester learning up to two years’ worth of language. We feature electives in diverse courses such as art, culture, literature, and history. Students will be able to attend classes with local students from Spain.
Students can participate in our 5-week Session I summer session and our Session II 4-week course. One semester of language study can be completed in a single session or a full year can be achieved in two sessions. It is up to you decide which session to attend or if you want to attend both as well as enrolling in courses in European Studies.
