Program Description
Study abroad in Bangalore and explore global issues, sociology, and Indian culture while volunteering alongside fellow students. You will contribute back to the local community while living and learning in a beautiful campus. Bangalore is known as the Silicon Valley of India and is an optimal combination of modernity and history.
USAC makes a point to integrate study abroad students into the local college community. You will be able to make new friends while learning about a new country. There are also a range of volunteer opportunities along with participation in excursions, clubs and sports. Students enrolled in the yearlong or semester program will enroll in a 1 credit Service Learning program. We also offer tours and cultural programs including an Indian cuisine course. We place students with Indian “buddies” to help them acclimate.
We also provide a January program and summer options. Please inquire for more information.
