Program Description
Study in Santiago and experience life in Chile. You will be near to the coastline and have the opportunity to explore a bustling city hub as well as have the chance to get out into nature. Study the local culture through learning Spanish and being immersed through your host family.
Students will have the opportunity to learn Anthropological Studies, Latin American studies, and Spanish. We use an intensive language framework that will allow you to study a year’s worth of language in 8 weeks during the summer or two years of coursework during one semester. This program is applicable for those wishing to major or minor in Spanish. There are two 4 week summer sessions that can be done individually or together for a total 8 week session. Other courses include technology, astronomy, indigenous cultures, anthropology, development in the community, women’s studies, political science, and much, much more.
Students with this program will be able to enrich their cultural learning and understanding through immersion and excursions to noteworthy sites. We also provide opportunities for volunteering and internships.
