Program Description
The UNO-Japan summer course is held at Doshisha University for 5 weeks, where students can take courses up to 9 credit hours. Kyoto is the perfect city to learn about the culture, history and language of Japan. Courses in Language and Humanities are offered such as History, Language, and Literature. Honor options are also incorporated in the courses. The best part is that the Japanese academic year is in full swing, so UNO-Japan students are on campus with Doshisha University students.

After nine successful years of the UNO-Japan: Study at Doshisha University summer program in Kyoto, Japan, we are looking forward to celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2018! Stay tuned for the exciting programming we have planned for our 2018 program! As one of the most highly respected and oldest universities in Japan, Doshisha University is an optimal choice. The Japanese school year is still in session during summer, so participants will have many opportunities to mingle with local students. Fields trips that are included are a full day exploring Kyoto, visits to Osaka, which is the commercial city, and Nara that is the truly ancient capital of Japan and a UNESCO World Heritage site.What`s Included
- Housing in a single room or double room- Tuition and university fees for six credit hours (2 courses)
