University Preparatory Course

Program Description

Students interested in entering into one of MODUL University Vienna’s bachelor programs are welcome to join one of our preparatory courses. The preparatory course will ensure that students meet the level of mathematical knowledge and English proficiency necessary to enter into the university. Students will learn Introduction to IT, European Culture, Basic German, English, and Mathematics & Statistics. Students will have a grounding in theory while adapting to living in Vienna. Students will be immersed in the local culture and lifestyle. Students must achieve a 6.0 in the IELTS Test and pass a final exam given at the end of the semester to be considered for admittance into the MODUL University of Vienna.

Program:
- English: 16 hours per week
- Mathematics & Statistics: 4 hours per week
- German: 4 hours per week
- IT: 2 hours per week

Course runs from September 21, 2015 and ends January 29, 2015
Course will be instructed in English
Course fee does not include student dorm housing (around € 300 per month)
This course will allow students to obtain a student visa

Students will be admitted to the program who are at least 18 years of age, with an intermediate English language proficiency (IELTS 5.5 or above), and the requisite qualifications to attend university. Applicants will need to also pass a video Skype admissions interview.

Application deadline is June 30, 2015. This course will only run if at least 8 participants are accepted.
