Program Description
The University of New England’s program in Seville is located at our partner institution the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO). UPO is located just outside the center of the city. Seville—the capital of the Andalusia region of Spain—is located in the south of the country. Decorative Moorish architecture, grand Gothic cathedrals and modern urban center come together to create an eclectic looking city where new meets old. The people of the city bring it to life their rich culture and their passion for food, wine, art and flamingo dancing!
The 345-acre campus is a 20-minute metro ride from the center of the city and has over 9,000 students. Complete with classroom buildings, sports facilities, state-of-the-art science labs and all the amenities of a major modern University, students will be continue with normal coursework and extracurriculars. Students in the program stay with Spanish-speaking host families located within walking distance of major metro stops. This allows students to engage and connect on a deeper level with Spanish culture while enjoying home-cooked authentic meals. There will also be plenty of opportunities to enjoy tapas out with friends!

Highlights
Spending the semester in Seville gives students the opportunity to travel throughout the rest of Spain and visit cities like Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Students can go trekking in nearby mountains, or if they prefer, explore the many quaint coastal towns scattered along the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Students will also have access to the rest of Europe by bus, rail or one of many budget European airlines. Additionally, overnight excursions are included to the UNE Morocco campus in Tangier and also to Grenada.What`s Included
