Summer Camp in Shanghai

Program Description

Especially tailored to 14 to 17 year olds, Hutong School's two week Summer Camp will be an experience you remember for the rest of your life. With our summer camp, young learners can immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture whilst making friends from all over the world. They'll have fun, learn Chinese and discover a new culture in a safe environment with 24/7 supervision and support. Our team is always there for you if you need anything: an experienced supervisor accompanies the students throughout the entire stay - day and night. And the whole team is on standby to answer questions and help out in case anyone has specific requests.

So that students can get the most out of their time in China, the program consists of daily Chinese lessons in small groups in the morning and a wide variety of cultural and social activities in the afternoons, such as calligraphy, Chinese Opera, and visits to historical and tourist sites. Our innovative teaching method is especially suitable for Western students: the main focus is on speaking in day-to-day situations and practicing what was already learned so that the students start to communicate in real life. During the weekend, we visit popular Shanghai landmarks and nearby water towns such as Suzhou.
