Program Description

Get your education while you take a vacation! Next Step China's Study and Travel Program is all about enjoying the sights while youre practicing a new language, combining learning and fun. Students start their China adventure by taking an intensive course in Mandarin Chinese. This is followed by tours of the vibrant cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Guilin, and Yangshuo.

Here are the amazing sites you will see in the Study and Travel Program:

* Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall of China, the Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb.
* Xian: The Terracotta Warriors, Small Wild Good Pagoda, the City Wall, Shaanxi History Museum, the Great Mosque, the Muslim Bazaar.
* Guilin: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill.
* Yangshuo: The Li River, Hundred Mile Gallery.
* Shanghai: Xin Tian Di shopping area, Shanghai Museum, the Bund.

What`s Included

We have three options for students wanting to join the Study and Travel Program:

1. Study Chinese in Beijing for 2-4 weeks, then spend 10 days traveling, starting in Beijing and ending in Shanghai.
2. Start your 10-day travel in Beijing, then study in Shanghai for 2-4 weeks.
3. Customize your study and travel (e.g. study for 2 weeks in Beijing, travel for 10 days, and study in Shanghai for 2 weeks).
