Program Description

Come to visit Uruguay and have a great rural experience. You will have the chance to learn about milking cows, horseback riding, fishing, cycling and cooking typical foods like asado and torta frita. Play the guitar with fireworks in the sky while you see the stars and hear some local scary stories.

Day 1
Arrival at any time

Day 2
Orientation in Montevideo, visit the old City, eat in “El Mercado del Puerto”, architect explanation, visit 2 museums, Murga Show

Day 3
Departure to Rural Area, get know the place, gaucho culture stories

Day 4
Milking and fishing

Day 5
Horse riding and fruit collecting

Day 6
Flora and Fauna recognition, cooking and eating an Asado around a bonfire

Day 7
Horse riding, Football play

Day 8
Drums workshop, Music folklore show

Day 9
Herding farm animals. Departure to Colonia or Punta del Este (depending the season).

Day 10
Visit Punta del Este, Horse riding in the beach.

Day 11
Fishing, Cook and eat what we fish.

Day 12
Free time in Punta del Este, Maldonado visit.

Day 13
Departure to Montevideo. Free time in Montevideo
