American University of Sharjah welcomes students from around the world to study abroad for one semester or an entire calendar/academic year. AUS offers a coeducational, US-style curriculum with English language of instruction. The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission of Higher Education in the US, and the various academic programs are accredited within the US-system (e.g. AACSB, ABET, NAAB, etc.).
