Program Description

The program consists of a wide academic component centering on the intensive study of Spanish language and culture. It also offers business and political science courses taught in English. For those students with a sufficient language proficiency, the program offers since 1985 the opportunity to take upper-level courses at the University of Seville. At the University of Seville students can choose from over 100 different courses.

Highlights

The ICS Welcome Week introduces students into life in Seville. Small classes give students more one on one with professors. Visits, excursions, and trips offer a fascinating intercultural experience.

From the first moment, the program received me with a warm hug. It was admirable how organized they were every sigle moment, they paid attention to details all the time; and they make you feel comfortable at the moment from the moment you arrived to a whole different culture until the end of the program. You will never get bored, they have a bunch of different activities you can do while you are studying abroad. The program offers cultural visits, field trips, city tours, volunteering opportunities, dance classes, cooking classes, internship opportunities;and much more. The ones I mention were the ones I participated while I was spending my semester abroad. The staff are very gentle, polite and people who are passionate in their everyday; you will notice how happy they are in what they are doing. The environment with students is very fun; also, with the families and the host-mothers, they are sweet people that makes you feel like home. My experience with ICS was excellent and the way it is organized is amazing. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to share with sweet people while I am studying in a different culture.
