Munich, Germany: Comparative Intellectual Property Law

Academic program: May 28 – June 22 (5 units)
Optional externship: June 25 ~ July 22 (3-4 units)

The Munich academic/externship program will examine European patent, trademark, and copyright law as well as international systems for intellectual property protection. Coursework will be designed for individuals with no technical background or prior coursework in intellectual property as well as for more advanced students.

Mix & Match • Students may be placed in an externship at the conclusion of the Munich academic program or concurrently with the Munich academic program. Externship placements require either German language skills or a technical background – but not both. Alternatively, students may enroll in the Geneva program or the Oxford program at the conclusion of the Vienna academic program.
