Information Technology Summer Camp

Calling all technology lovers - have you ever heard of Hangzhou? Hangzhou is China's Silicon Valley and the haven of all things IT, present and future. Join our IT summer camp for a 10 day China immersion, where you will attend workshops with a Hangzhou Univeristy professor as well as exploring the exciting cities of Beijing and Shanghai.

You will learn several key data mining models and R programing, a popular open source software package in data mining. Master the techniques and tricks of BA through a hands-on method regarding analyzing large-scale date for improved business decision making. At the end, you will take a step into the real world by creating a business analytics model using real world datasets.

While you will spend 5 days following lectures and participating in labs, the other 5 will be spent getting to know and understand China and the way it works. Discover the exciting metropolis of Shanghai and explore the cultural and historical sights of Beijing.
