Program Description

Study abroad in Guilin, a breathtaking southern city in China. Learn Mandarin through 20 weekly hours of one-on-one intensive class.

The best way to rapidly improve your language skills is through one-on-one language courses. Over the course of your program, you will be taught by three different and effective CLI teachers who will all encourage, advance, and aid your language learning abilities. This undivided attention of your personal instructors is a key benefit to studying at CLI.

CLI organizes optional monthly and weekly excursions. Students will be immersed in Chinese culture and language as participants visit Daoist monasteries, enjoy tea house visits, take part in Chinese cooking lessons, go on photo treks to the Longji Rice Terraces, hike up the beautiful karst mountains in Guilin, and go on bamboo rides down the Li River.
