Program Description

Experience a new place and discover new things about yourself; learn something new, meet the unexpected, and conquer the unknown. Step off the beaten path and discover more of the world…You won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime learning adventure to study aromatherapy, essential oils, and herbs among wild thyme and many other aromatic Mediterranean botanicals, on the island of Syros in Greece!

Picturesque Villa Abela will serve as home base for your week of study. Adjacent to the secluded bay of Abela, Villa Abela is only 100 yards from the beach and features grounds and courtyards covered in multi-colored bougainvillea and traditional Greek architecture.

With Villa Abela as a backdrop, you will enjoy enriching instruction from ACHS President and renowned Aromatherapist and Herbalist Dorene Petersen. Dorene is Chair of the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) and one of its founding members.
