Georgia State University: Spanish Studies in Costa Rica

Program Description

Study abroad in San José, Costa Rica with Georgia State University. This Spanish Studies program last for six weeks and is an optimal way to be immersed in the local culture while learning the local language. You will be placed at a language school in San José, which will serve as a base for further travels across the country. Program participants will enroll in a language course with local instructors as well as a cultural course that is taught by the program director from Georgia State. These courses are adjusted according to student language levels from conversation to grammar.

Highlights

Students will be placed in local homestays with Costa Rican families alongside hostel and hotels. Program participants will have breakfast and dinner with their host family. The host families that we are affiliated with have worked with us for years. You will be placed with one or two fellow students in the homestays. What`s Included

Program cost may vary at any time according to currency fluctuations and changing travel arrangements.
The program cost is tentatively set at $ 2,995.00, PLUS regular Georgia State University tuition and fees. Non-resident/out-of-state students will pay in-state tuition plus a $250 fee in addition to the program cost.
