The first semester provides students with deeper knowledge of financial economics, including public finance. The focus of the programme is on building up analytical capacities rather than trying to cover all aspects of the field. Students are provided with the skills needed to construct, use and critique models used in all areas of finance, microeconomics and macroeconomics.
