Program Description

Participants for this program should be interested in learning about a wide swathe of starting and managing a business including promotional campaigns, promotional marketing, implementing customer service standards, recruitment and human resources, relationship building and networking, and managing the workforce.

Requirements for Admissions

Applications from students under 18 years of age will not be accepted by English in Paradise.

The minimum education level is Year 12 or an equivalent. Students must be fluent or highly competent in English with an IELTS score of 5.5 Those who do not fulfill these requirements will be expected to take an assessment exam with English in Paradise covering Numeracy, Literacy, and Language.

Student can enroll each week except for public and scheduled holidays. Courses last for a total of 24 week with 20 teaching weeks and 4 weeks of holiday. Classes run from 8:30AM to 6:30PM for 20 hours each week over the course of two days and with an in-class instructor.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning is the process of formal recognition for skills and knowledge gained through previous learning such as:
• Life experiences
• Previous formal learning
• Employment

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning for part or all of your intended study, based on your previous experiences and learning. For more information regarding RPL and how to apply, please discuss this with the Administration team prior to enrolment.

Credit Transfer

You may be eligible for a credit transfer if you have previously undertaken training through a Registered Training Organisation. Credit transfer may be granted for one or more units or a full certificate level.

Three major factors need to be considered:
How current the qualification is, mapping to the current training, and if the training was undertaken with an Australian Registered Training Organisation.

If you think you may be eligible for a credit transfer you will need to provide the following:
A certified copy of the original statement of attainment and/or certificate is to be provided for a credit transfer
