CEA’s partner institution, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), situated in the upscale suburb of Summerstrand, is South Africa's first dual-language university and the largest higher education institution in the Eastern and Southern Cape areas.
Students at NMMU are surrounded by nature, beauty and activity at each of the university’s three campuses which are located in a nature reserve of more than 830 hectares, and home to 22 species of mammals, 16 species of reptiles and 4 species of amphibians. Choose from courses including South African Politics, South African Culture, Business & Economics, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, History, Journalism, Marine Studies, Public Health and more, and enjoy CEA’s extended classroom experience, which takes learning beyond the classroom, to amazing locations throughout your host city.
