Program Description

Exploring will never get old in this many varied city! London is seen as one of the greatest centers of culture, film, music, sport, theater, fashion, and art. As London has spread it has developed special districts each with their own taste, such as Covent Garden, South Bank, Soho, and Westminster. In this program you can explore them all! If this culturally rich city just isn't enough, London has plenty of airports and and train stations to provide students transportation throughout England and beyond into Europe. Located in the southwest portion of London, Athena's partner institution, University of Roehampton, has something for everyone. With its extensive listings you can take major classes, general education credits, or even some just for fun.

Highlights

This program takes students to see both the historic and the modern sides of London and the surrounding areas. In field trips included in the programs students will see such sites as the London Eye, the National Gallery, Tower of London, Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey, and the Globe Theater!
