Program Description

Barcelona is a vibrant and culturally diverse city in northeast Spain. It is the second largest city of Spain and the capital of Catalonia. Students looking for an immersive experience will adapt to the Catalan language, a mix of Spanish and French, instead of traditional Spanish. This Mediterranean paradise is located on the coast of the Iberian peninsula. Between its vast amount of museums and unique architectural feats, this city offers exciting exploration for the adventurous student.

Students will be studying at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), which is among the best academic centers in Spain and the European Union due to the quality of its teaching staff and its excellent research. Barcelona's mild climate and diverse landscapes provide students with a variety of opportunities to spend time on the beaches, in the Pyrenees Mountains, or visiting some of the most famous wineries and cava (champagne) caves of Spain.
