Program Description

Join the Al Baher Training Center (ABTC) that is situated in Amman, Jordan. Take this opportunity to learn Arabic while exploring a fascinating capital city. You will be immersed in the local community as you enhance your understanding of the Arab environment. We welcome students of all language levels and ages to join our programs.

Each of our courses are instructed by experienced bilingual staff who work to help each student reach their language goal while ensuring that cross-cultural communication occurs. We even offer a range of course types from conversational, individual, intensive, semi-private, and group. We are open to diplomats, immersion students, and travelers. We use textbooks and other materials to instruct the course and also include the Levantine, the Jordanian colloquial dialect alongside Modern Standard Arabic.

We seek to ensure that our students enjoy their time learning Arabic.

What`s Included

Arabic Script: Recognition of the Arabic letters, rules for writing in Arabic, long sounds (Vowels) and short sounds (vocalizations or Harakaat), symbols and stressed syllables, assimilation (Sun and Moon letters)

Topics: Giving personal data, family relationships, welcoming and inviting a guest, accepting and declining an invitation, prepositions, more drills using WH word questions, common expressions, cardinal numbers and rules of counting from 0 to infinity, telling the date, time words, telling the time, mathematical symbols.

Grammar: Basic word structure, drills on verbs using the present and the future tenses, descriptive pattern, drills using subject pronouns
