Program Description

In this course you will gain knowledge, skills and competencies to be able to understand the tools, principles, patterns and best practices underlying Android development.
The course covers different topics, which will give you the qualifications you need to:
Understand general mobile development principles
Utilise Android SDK and Android Studio to develop mobile and ubiquitous computing applications
Define responsive and interactive user interfaces using the Android framework.
Establish communication to hardware sensors and external services from application components, as well as communicating in and between applications using the Android framework.
Handle resources and persist data using the Android framework.

Credits: 5 ECTS
Academic level: BA level
Prerequisites: Proficiency with Java programming

Learn about Denmark the fun way
In afternoon and evenings, VIA Summer School will arrange a variety of social and cultural events to expand your knowledge of Denmark and the other participants at the VIA Summer School courses.
You can decide for yourself the extent to wish you want to participate in these activities.

What`s Included

Students from VIA, students from VIA’s partners or students from other Danish educational institutions can participate free of charge if they can provide proof of credit transfer into their own study programme. Accommodation, meals (food and drink), insurance, visa and travelling expenses to and from Denmark are not included in the fee. Housing service will be provided by VIA Summer School.
