Program Description

Trinity College, London will present you with a TESOL Certificate upon completion of your TEFL Course.

TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, which is a universally accepted certificate from the renowned Trinity College, London. This certificate is accredited at Level 5 of the UK National Qualifications Framework.

We provide a four-week intensive course on-site. This is open to anyone who wants to hone their teaching abilities and who are interested in receiving a formal acknowledgement certifying their skill at teaching English as a foreign or second language. This is a great opportunity for gap year students or those looking to switch careers since our certificate is a stepping stone to employment in the UK or anywhere else in the world. You will create a strong foundation in the methodology of teaching English and you will also be able to work with foreign students who possess a wide range of abilities as you experiment with your teaching technique.

Our programme features:

- 6 hours of observed teaching practice, with groups and individuals

Highlights

The course will take place of a four week period with a total time of 130 hours. Mornings will usually be occupied with methodology while group teaching practice will take place in the afternoons. You will also be recorded during your teaching sessions so that your tutor can work with you privately.

Two DELTA-certified tutors, one of whom is the course director, will be on hand to assist and guide you. Both are very experienced and skilled at teaching English as a foreign language.

The Cert TESOL Course will be assessed by units: Unit 1 Teaching Skills, Unit 2 Language Awareness, Unit 3 Learner Profile, Unit 4 Materials Assignment, and Unit 5 Unknown Language. This will graded on a 1-5
