Program Description

This is the most amazing opportunity to learn Spanish as you dance in the waves of the Costa Rican Central Pacific Coast in one of the most electric and exciting beaches in the country.

20 hours a week of Spanish lessons with about 6 hours of surfing instruction as you live the real Costa Rican life with a local host family all the while having fun. This will all make this experience one of your life's best memories.

Come to Costa Rica and come to Jacó Beach, our surfers' paradise. Enjoy the waves, have fun, learn Spanish and experience life.

Jacó Beach is only 90 minutes from San José downtown and about one hour from Juan Santamaría International Airport.

What`s Included

1. Pick up from the airport. First night or couple of nights at a Host Family in Heredia and then transportation to the beach.
2. Spanish lessons Monday to Friday: 8:00 in the morning until noon with a 20 minutes break at 10:00 a.m.
3. Participation Certificate.
4. Surf lessons Monday to Thursday: You will dance on the ocean waves for 90 minutes each day.
5. Room and board (3 meals a day).
6. Volunteer project: Cleaning the beach & Planting almond trees for red macaws’ protection. (optative)
