Spanish Superintensive Course in Granada

Program Description

This Superintensive course features 6 lessons every day and is guaranteed to push students to reach a high level during a short period of time. These courses are ideal for students whose stay in Andalusia is work-oriented or study-based. With more lessons added to the Standard Course, students put into practice the communication skills learned during the morning sessions. Classes are conducted entirely in Spanish and are divided into two distinct parts. The first part deals with the Spanish language itself, explaining its grammatical structures and communicative functions. The second part contains specific topics in order to combine cultural themes with individual oral skills.

A written level exam and a self-assessment oral test will be sent with the course documents in order to determine your level. Students must turn in documents no later than one week before their Spanish course is due to begin. All Spanish courses begin on Monday.

Spanish classes are capped at 8 students per group and are held from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 14.00 h. This will have six Spanish lessons every day, lasting 45 minutes each. Students are placed into groups (A1/A2/B1/B2/C1/C2) based on their placement exams. Our teachers are very skilled at evaluating students' language abilities.

- Conferences and film screenings
- Visits to the Arabic bath which includes massage
- Tango and Flamenco workshops (also guitar and cajón)
- Trips to the Alhambra, the old Moorish quarter of the Albaicín or the Sacromonte gypsy quarter
- Visits to nearby villages and beautiful beaches
- Hiking, rock climbing or horseback riding in Sierra Nevada National Park
- Cooking courses along with wine or olive oil tasting
- Tapa tours
- Yoga classes
- Photo trips
- Visit to St. Joseph's cemetery
- Weekend trips to Cordoba, Seville or Morocco

What`s Included

Included in the course price:
Level-testing, Spanish course, educational material (photocopies and textbooks), the costs of some of the activities included in the cultural programme, certificate of attendance and language exchange where applicable, administration costs, information about Granada, free Internet access/WIFI, use of library and multimedia room.

Not included in the course price:
Enrollment fee (50 €), airport transfer, travel insurance, the costs of some of the activities included in the cultural programme, final examination, accommodation.
