Program Description
This Spanish course has 4 classes per day which allows students to add to their holidays with a language study. The course is recommended for those who wish to combine a relaxed language course with the study of Spanish culture in real life situations. Students beginning to learn Spanish or looking to improve their linguistic skills are encouraged to join.
Classes are conducted entirely in Spanish and are divided into two distinct parts. The first part deals with the Spanish language itself, explaining its grammatical structures and communicative functions. The second part contains specific topics in order to combine cultural themes with individual oral skills.
We will send you a written level test and a self-assessment oral test together with the course documents. Students have until one week before the Spanish course starts to return the documents. All Spanish courses begin on Monday.
Spanish classes are capped at 8 students per group and are held from Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 15.45 h. There are 4 Spanish lessons every day, lasting 45 minutes each. Students are placed into groups (A1/A2/B1/B2/C1/C2) based on the results of their placement exams. Our teachers are skilled with evaluating students' language abilities. Starting dates for all levels in 2018: every Monday.
Combine your Spanish course with Tango dance lessons:
We offer two evenings of Tango dancing in addition to the morning Spanish classes (Tuesday and Thursday from 20.30 to 22.00 h).

Escuela Montalban - Program Reviews
The school offered a lot of different activities, such as hiking, rock climbing and horse riding in Sierra Nevada National Park, Flamenco dancing, cooking classes or movie evenings. The activities make it easy to get to know the other students and to make new friends from all over the world.
Granada is a great city. I love the tapas culture for example. With every drink you get a tapa for free. What I liked the most was hiking in the Sierra Nevada and dancing Salsa and Bachata. There are dance partys every night and I improved a lot while being here. Dancing Salsa helped me as well to make Spanisch friends and to use my new knowledges of the language.
I was sad when I had to leave Escuela Montalban and Granada.
I will come back for sure as soon as posible and I can recommend everybody to go there as well!
