Spanish and Salsa in Granada

Overall rating: 9.3 based on 1 reviews

Program Description

This Spanish course with 4 classes per day allows students to complement their holidays with language study. The course is recommended for those who wish to combine a relaxed language course with the study of Spanish culture in real life situations. Students beginning to learn Spanish from scratch, or improve their linguistic skills are welcome to this course.

Classes are conducted entirely in Spanish and are divided into two distinct parts. The first part deals with the Spanish language itself, explaining its grammatical structures and communicative functions. The second part contains specific topics in order to combine cultural themes with individual oral skills.

We will send you a written test to determine your level and a self-assessment oral test together with the course documents. Students must return the documents at least one week before the Spanish course begins. All Spanish courses begin on a Monday.

Spanish classes have a maximum of 8 students per level group and are held from Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 15.45 h. There are 4 Spanish lessons per day, lasting 45 minutes each. Students are divided into groups (A1/A2/B1/B2/C1/C2) based on the results of their placement exams. Our teachers are experienced at assessing students' language abilities. Starting dates for all levels in 2018: every Monday.

In addition to a general Spanish course, you can choose 2 Salsa sessions of 90 minutes each during two evenings.

Learning spanish with escuela montalban was so much fun! I would highly recommend this salsa & spanish combination!

I had the best time during my stay in escuela montalban! :) All of the teachers that I had classes with were always really enagaged, topics were very interesting and teachers had a lot of energy and patient for explaining all of the grammar issues. You can tell that they really like their job! What I liked the most was that they really put strong emphasize on the speaking part and we had a lot of activities and games to practice conversations.

If you want not only learn spanish but also have a nice time after classes escuela montalban is a perfect choice. Every week they organize a lot of cultural activities, you can go to cinema, see flamenco show, go to the beach. I chose to combine my spanish classes with salsa classes which was a great decision! Twice a week I had salsa classes in local dance studio which was great because classes was completelly in spanish and all of the teachers/ students were speaking in spanish so I had a lot of opportunity to practice my spanish! Also I met there some spanish people and we went together few times to salsa parties :) it was a lot of fun and also a great way to speak more spanish and get to know more about spanish culture! Really, if you like dancing I would highly recommend you choosing this course!
