When making important decisions about the health of a patient, any medical professional would say that having the full picture of that patient is essential. Yes, the lab test can give insight, but truly understanding and connecting with the patient takes language, dialogue, and conversation.
The medical program at Tico Lingo is designed for just that; to get you speaking and connecting with all of your patients on a level you never thought possible.
The introductory medical Spanish program is designed to be covered over a 60 Hour period assuming your level of Spanish is already at an intermediate level (B1). It covers essential phrases, terminology, and vocabulary that all medical professionals need. Once we’ve built a solid foundation of the basics, detailed terminology based on your specific field is covered. Tico Lingo offers classes customized for physicians, physician’s assistants (PAs), specialists, residents, medical students, hospital and office nurses, as well as nurse practitioners.
