Program Description
Located in the heart of Beirut, the Lebanese Arabic Institute offers a comprehensive program of study in Lebanese Arabic, based upon its innovative series of textbooks and audios entitled "Lebanese Arabic from Scratch". These materials have been designed to help students communicate effectively in the Lebanese dialect of Arabic, while at the same time providing the conceptual framework to enable students to bridge the gap between spoken Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic as they progress in their studies and linguistic capacity.
Students may cover some or all of this program by taking classes, either group classes or private/customized classes, at the Lebanese Arabic Institute. A full complement of group classes is offered by the Institute throughout the year. Some have fixed term dates, while others are offered on an ongoing basis and are open to new students at any time. A variety of class times (from morning to evening) and learning paces (from intensive to casual) are available.
