Program Description

Apart from the course students can participate in one of various volunteering projects diving deeper in the culture and expanding the possibilities to practice the language.

GoBrazil offers intensive individual and group courses all over the year. The small class size promotes a more personal approach to each student. The goal of these Portuguese lessons is to enable students to converse in Portuguese in as fast as four weeks, build lasting friendships with other learners, communicate with locals, and complete the internship in Brazil. Leave the textbooks at home and come to the beautiful beach of Maceió to learn Portuguese!

Highlights

Beautiful location on the beach with the summer all year around
Our students have the possibility to participate in one of our volunteering projects: working with kids or animals, helping rural development, teaching English etc
All our teachers are locals but have several years experience teaching Portuguese for foreigners
We are trying to find individual approach to each student depending on his/her background, already spoken languages, personal habits
Our groups are small (not more than 5 people), which makes the course personal

    Yes, I can really say I learnt Portuguese on the beach. The school is just 5 min walking distance from the very beautiful beach. I like swimming a lot, so there were the day when I went to swim before the lesson, after the lesson, and one more time in the evening. And it did not disturb my learning at all, though the course was very intensive. We were 3 people in the group, everyone with own learning style and speed, but all of us got the most from the course. I really liked that we had 3 different teachers so one dont get bored with the same teching style and person. All of them are quite different, but without any doubts very good professionals.
