Welcome to the Caribbean, welcome to Meztli Spanish Language School! Our language courses allow you to hit the ground running, so after a few lessons you'll start to think and even to dream in Spanish while your brain naturally assimilates the structure and the patterns of the language. At the school we speak Spanish only, so you can very quickly immerse into the language.
What's so special about the immersion method? The benefits of such method is that you hear, see and feel the language in its natural environment. You "live" the language by hearing and seeing expressions, words and phrases in context, enhanced by physical movements, facial expressions, hand motions and tone. The immersion method allows you to learn a foreign language the way a child learns it: naturally.
In the semi-private program you have grammar lesson with max. 3 other students and private lessons where you can focus on one topic in which you want to immerse yourself in. Additionally you can participate in activities in the evening to learn more about Mexican culture and to intensify your Spanish.

Highlights
Lessons are held in a green lush garden in the town of Tulum. Very nearby, you find world-class Caribbean beaches, natural treasures (lagoons, sinkholes, jungle etc.) and ancient Mayan culture.All of our teachers are native Spanish speakers and are highly motivated and interested in sharing their passion for language and Mexican culture with you.
At Meztli you can study Spanish and experience Mexican culture and the friendliness of the local people.
What`s Included
Semi-private lessons (3 hours)8:00-8:50 am Yoga (optional: instructions in Spanish)
9:00-10:30 am Spanish grammar in group lessons (max. 4 persons)
10:30-10:40 am Break
10:40-12:00 pm Private Spanish lessons (focussing on one topic: business, medicine, social work, ESL teachers, yoga instructors)
Cost: 2,800 Pesos (U$ 216) per week; everything included, also free coffee, wifi and optional evening workshops: cooking class, salsa dancing, Mexican handicrafts (instructions in Spanish)

I completed a two week program at Meztli in Tulum and was completely thrilled with the quality of Spanish instruction. Sara Luna is a great Spanish teacher and my vocabulary and comprehension increased more than I thought possible in two weeks. I arranged a hotel for my stay in Tulum but spent time at the school enjoying the morning Yoga classes and especially the afternoon Salsa dance lessons and Mexican cooking classes. Off time I went to the beach and spent weekends sightseeing at the Tulum ruins, several area cenotes and a kayak ride at Sian Kaan in the jungle.
