Program Description
BLI is offering an English training programme that will provide ICAO Standard English lessons to aspiring pilots and ATCs. There are many flying schools located in the surrounding area and this is a programme that is known for delivering effective results. BLI is even the official language provider to one of the nearby top flight training schools in the world.
After a student’s level has been evaluated, they will be placed in a course of either 20 General English lessons a week plus 10 afternoon lessons of focused conversation or 20 General English classes plus 10 intensive lessons that are specifically focused on Aviation English. The Aviation English courses will be taught by an Aviation English instructor. This Aviation intensive course usually begins after a student has reached an intermediate level.
BLI’s Aviation English Course is geared towards international pilots and air traffic controllers. The goal is to ensure that all the participants are equipped with the necessary English skills necessary to fulfill ICAO’s level 4 criteria and to be successful in the communication aspect of their profession.

Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, and Grammar
