AIL Madrid is an Instituto Cervantes accredited Spanish Language School in Madrid. There are a variety of Spanish courses available to suit all abilities and skill levels.

Para mí el primer día siempre ha sido muy emocionante. Un lugar nuevo, un idioma diferente y gente que no conocía. Pero todo salió muy bien. La gente en la escuela era muy simpática, abierta y sociable. Las clases con mi profesora eran muy divertidas, creativas e interesantes. Las diferentes maneras de aprender español y los juegos con mis compañeros de clase me ayudaron mucho a entender la gramática española. El ambiente en las clases era muy amable por eso perdí el miedo a hablar español.
Cada día por la tarde teníamos actividades sobre la historia y la cultura de España. Mis actividades favoritas eran los paseos por Madrid que me ayudaron mucho a conocer los barrios de la ciudad. Me encantó un barrio que se llama Lavapiés con la Tabacalera y los murales maravillosos.
Durante mis clases y fiestas en la escuela tenía muchas oportunidades de hablar con la gente de todo el mundo y conocer otras culturas. A veces cuando hablaba con personas de otros países descubría cosas nuevas y divertidas sobre mi lengua materna.
Gracias a la escuela tuve un alojamiento con una familia española en el centro de la ciudad. En la casa había un ambiente muy familiar. Gracias a las personas que eran muy amables y abiertas pude conocer la comida española y las costumbres españolas.
Después mi curso me di cuenta de que estudiar español en España es la mejor manera para aprender este idioma y pasar vacaciones con buenos compañeros.
Espero volver muy rápido a AIL Madrid para estudiar más y ver más cosas de Madrid.

Me matriculé en la escuela AIL por pura casualidad...Tras una serie de llamadas a escuelas de idiomas en Madrid, encontré una chica muy maja al teléfono que me explicó muy rápido las ventajas de AIL e intentó además entender mis palabras incoherentes en español: decidí que aquella tenía que ser mi escuela de español.
Entonces, imaginar volver después de muchos años a una clase con estudiantes con los que no compartes nada menos tus faltas gramaticales no me apetecía mucho...De verdad, desde el primer día la escuela y las clases me gustaron mucho, y de repente cambié mi opinión: podía aprender y conocer a gente, que como yo, también sentía la necesidad de comunicarse a través de palabras (pocas), sonrisas (muchas), y gestos (sólo entre algunas nacionalidades en particular ;).
Los compañeros de clase eran todos simpáticos, aunque al principio demasiado callados. Me acuerdo que las conversaciones durante la primera semana se desarrollaban sólo en el tiempo presente: no conocíamos otro tiempo verbal. Me encantaba esta situación: nadie tenía planes, ni pasado, pero todos estábamos muy centrados en vivir el momento.
Si alguien quiere aprender español en Madrid, AIL es una excelente oportunidad para estudiar, conocer gente y descubrir Madrid a través de las actividades sociales organizadas por la escuela durante la tarde y a veces por la noche.
Lo que más aprecié de AIL fue la metodología de la enseñanza, que parecía más una charla entre amigos que una lección.
Lo que más me gustó de AIL fue que el profesor nunca se rió de nuestra manera de hablar, que de verdad, a menudo no tenía ninguna lógica (un besito a Edu)
Lo que AIL podría mejorar son las bromas de algunos profesores (No te enfades Edu)
Lo que más me sorprendió de AIL fue la paciencia del personal de la recepción que siempre tenía respuesta aunque no entendiera la pregunta (bravo a Francesca, Roxana, Laura y los demás..)
¡Que todos los próximos estudiantes tengan tanta suerte como yo¡

I spent a week here at AIL Madrid, before beginning my year abroad at university here in Spain. Having experienced other spanish courses in previous years, I can certainly say that the course at AIL Madrid was by far the most fun and the most productive. I was placed in C1 level, and so initially was unsure of how much I was going to progress, but the classes were catered to our needs and I left with a huge boost of confidence, ready to tackle the university course! The teachers were really enthusiastic and concentrated on helping us perfect our spanish, but I also enjoyed the cultural activities in the afternoons - they provided a perfect introduction to Madrid as a city of culture. Muchísimas gracias AIL Madrid por todo!
