About our city:
Hefei, also known as Luzhou or Luyang in ancient times, is a historical city located in the central area of Anhui Province. Lying between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River, covering an area of 7,266 square kilometers, it is the key tourist city of the whole province and the best place to know about the brilliant Anhui culture. Broad avenues and beautiful landscape, modern constructions and historical relics present Hefei as a youthful yet time-honored city.
About our school:
EF Hefei Online Center is due to open in August 2018 and will be our first Online School in the city. The Center is a branch of the existing schools run in EF Urumqi. Although, the EF Hefei Online Center is new, the schools in Urumqi opened in 2001 and fast became the most progressive language training provider. We have the same ambitions for our Online Center and using electronic media and EF-developed courseware, we can ensure we teach English online efficiently and effectively.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for dedicated, dynamic teachers who want to teach young learners and teens in our modern and well-equipped online school in Hefei. We strongly believe in professional development and training so if you are not an experienced teacher we can help you make the transition into a new career! Conversely, if you are an experienced teacher and looking for a new challenge in your career our online school would be a great choice for you.
Personal Qualities:
We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver high quality and engaging online classes to young learners and teens. We are looking for creative and energetic teachers who will ‘bring to life’ the lesson plans and materials we provide whilst ensuring that our students have fun and most importantly- make progress!
Our teachers must be able to motivate and inspire their students to learn English, helping them develop their linguistic skills, communicative ability and confidence in using what they have learnt.
Due to the nature of the classes we require our teachers to have a lot of patience when educating young learners through an online system. We need our teachers to also be very engaging and to enjoy interacting with our students. We hope that our teachers can bridge the physical gap between the students and the teacher.
Requirements:
*English Speakers with good accent and at an idiomatic level.
*Bachelor or above
*TEFL or TESOL certificate is preferred
*Experiences working with Children is preferred
*Motivated and team worker
*Outgoing personality & Communicative skills
*For the safety of our students’, successful candidates will be subject to a background check as part of EF China’s ‘Blue Card’ system.
