Project Manager - Shanghai

Job Description

The appointee will be responsible for supporting the overall operational and marketing work of DPU.
The successful appointee will:
Support the strategic operational work of the DPU Director; and
Support the sales and marketing work of DPU’s INTO and ISES business streams.
This is a Shanghai-based role. The appointee will travel extensively across China to support a team of DPU and ISES marketing professionals to drive student recruitment and achieve enrolment targets.

Reporting line
The appointee reports directly to the DPU Director.
In the course of day-to-day work, DPU and ISES Senior Managers will provide instruction and guidance.

Key accountabilities
The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be exhaustive. We require all employees to be flexible, dynamic and creative when faced with challenges and changing market conditions.
Management: Support the Director in overall management and leadership of our operations and sales and marketing teams.
Sales and marketing:
Support Senior Managers to grow enrolments and achieving annual targets. This includes:
Maximising sales for INTO and ISES programmes;
Develop marketing strategies;
Analysing and sharing market intelligence and recruitment performance data;
Advising on and assisting with the production of marketing materials; and
Identifying and resolving any under-performance issues that affect recruitment.

Customer service:
"Ensure all constituents (including: students and their families; agents; high school and university partners; and INTO staff in China, the UK and US) receive excellent customer service.
The appointee will present a positive image of our organisation at all times."

Job Function

Salary/Benefits

Gross monthly salary of CNY20,000.
Bonus of up to 20% of annual salary for supporting Senior Managers achieve enrolment targets.
Annual leave of four weeks (20 days).
Statutory social security and hosing fund contributions (where applicable).

Desired Skills and Experience

This role suits a well-presented expatriate, preferably with Chinese-speaking skills, who delights in counselling students and parents seeking study-abroad options in the UK and US. A friendly, flexible attitude, and a genuine desire to learn about a wide range of overseas studies programmes are essential. Work on weekends and out-of-business hours, as well as travel, are required.
