Job Description
Hospitality Management is a program which allows you to fully immerse yourself in the language and culture of your host country. You can undertake an internship in a hotel which allows you to greatly improve your language skills and get to know a new culture. As well as the language benefits, this experience will greatly enhance your CV (resume).
Please let us know your level of Spanish. Only around 3% of people in Spain can manage in English. If you are a beginner we recommend that you take a language course with us for at least 2 weeks prior to your placement. For this, you will need to choose accommodation, host family, shared apartment or student residence. This is the best option, as you will learn in a classroom environment where you can ask questions and you will be deeply immersed in Spanish culture.
If you would like to apply for the program, we will need your CV (resume), a copy of your passport, an application fee of 100 € and a completed booking form.
Of course, a great benefit of this program is that you will receive all meals and accommodation from the hotel, as well as a small wage (200 € monthly). This means you will live either in the hotel or an apartment provided by them and will be provided with 3 meals a day.
The work in the hotel is varied and you will be asked to be flexible in what jobs you do: from receptionist work to restaurant work or acting as a kitchen assistant.
