Finance Internship

Job Description:
This position supports the daily activities of the Financial Planning & Analysis department, and works closely with personnel across Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain. Although the main objective is to develop practical application of the learning in the M&A field of study, this position is also intended to familiarize the individual with the day-to-day challenges of working in a corporate environment, and how to develop the people skills needed to succeed in that setting.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct assistance to M&A Managers
Maintain weekly/monthly reports
Use volume estimates from Sales to assess viability of new projects
Work with Accounting and R&D to estimate product costs
Requirements:
Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team
Clear written communication and strong interpersonal skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Advanced Excel skills
