- Hiring period: 12 months, all year round recruitment:

1. Teaching Common Core Literature, Reading and Writing courses and or Social Studies courses from K to G9;
2. Providing a certain level of public speaking training;
3. Assist with coaching in the Library;
4. Cooperate with Chinese staff to provide student academic assessments;
5. Research and Development Projects

Shanghai Joy Reading Club offers the highest quality of English education to elite students from ages 5 to 15. Aimed at high levels students who have already established English as their second language, JRC provides teachers with the opportunity to teach US Common Core standard compatible Literature and Social Studies teaching programs, as taught to native English speakers in the US and other western countries. In addition, each JRC center contains a library with more than 6,000 original English books as well as online reading comprehension assessment tools; which are employed by our foreign library coaches to provide an intelligent guided reading experience for our students. In order to guarantee the quality of these programs, JRC employs foreign academic teaching staff to deliver all courses and supports them with a dedicated and highly skilled Chinese workforce. Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree required, Education and English degree preferred, higher degree preferred;
2. Over 2 years of teaching experiences;
3. Speaks English at an idiomatic level;
4. TEFL/TESOL certificate holders preferred;
