「 About the job 」

Elan School is English training center that provides international enrichment programs for Chinese students. We’re looking for passionate, out-going, English speaking, English as a Second Language (ESL) tutors. You’ll get to discover a new culture, inspire children to learn a new language, and grow and develop your own skills in ways you never dreamed.

Our Foreign Trainers (ESL tutors) …

> Provide a highly engaging and effective English learning experience to K-G6 students through the delivery of innovative and immersive Elan's educational content;

> Use immersive learning techniques such as storytelling, singing, dialogue and role-playing, in combination with formal exercises;

> Work a 40 hour work week (20-25 contact teaching hours);

> Measure progress and educational results;

> Build strong relationships with parents and keep them “in-the-know” on their child’s journey.

We provide our International Tutors with orientation and pre-job training, on-going training and academic support, as well as amazing career development.

- Teach Core Literature, Reading and Writing Courses;
- Coach in the Library;
- Research and Development Projects;

「 About Elan Institutions 」

Elan English learning centers provide international enrichment programs for Chinese K-G6 local and international students. Programs are designed to improve students’ language skills, thinking skills, problem-solving abilities and knowledge of international cultures.

Elan Institutions also provides an extensive library program consisting of over 10,000 audiobooks and regular books, and complement this behavior with specialized literature and writing classes. Elan's programs will help students to become independent English readers and master English as a lifetime language skill, enabling them to enter the best high schools and universities later in the USA and elsewhere.

Requirements:
To qualify you’ll need the following:

> Completed bachelor degree or above;
> English language fluency in speaking, reading, and writing;
> Able to communicate with young learners where English is not their first language;
> A flexible “can do” attitude and flexible approach to working;
> Passion for working with young students;
