Job Description
Key Administrative Responsibilities Include:
Management of the overall daily operations of Mary Open Doors
Supervision of staff, local, and visiting volunteers
Overseeing the organization financials, developing and implementing budgets and other financial related tasks
Working directly with families seeking domestic violence interventions
Working closely with fundraising committee to secure local and international funding
Reporting and advising stakeholders including the Board, Donors, and other key stakeholders
Cultivating and nurturing national and international relationships
Networking with like-minded agencies in-country and abroad

Community Service Opportunity as Chief Executive Officer with Mary Open DoorsMary Open Doors (MOD), a non-profit, non-governmental organization located in San Ignacio Town, invites qualified persons to apply for the voluntary position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Community Service Opportunity with possibility of earning a salary once a sustainable way of generating income is implemented. The organization would assist with identifying housing but applicant must be able to cover cost of housing and meals.
Desired Skills and Experience
Desired Skills- Good knowledge of Domestic Violence Situation in Belize
- Strong leadership skills to effectively perform the daily operations of the organization
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good knowledge of the Spanish Language both verbal and written is desired
- Strong Computer Skills with competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to create and implement a 5 year strategic plan
