Program Description

Since it was established in 2005 by Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación
Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), InteRDom has become the leading internship, research and
academic program in the Caribbean.
InteRDom promotes professional, academic and cultural exchange between students, universities, scholars,
profes-sionals, businesses and nongovernmental organizations on a national and international scale.
The Program provides spaces for personal and professional growth, and international and multicultural
exchange, while at the same time contributing to the development of the nation’s economy and the
advancement of academic research.
InteRDom offers many program options to fit students’, professors’ and universities’ professional
and academic needs. At InteRDom, the key word is flexibility. We tailor our programs to make sure that
they adequately serve the intern and/or institution in regards to content, time frame and logistical considerations.

Qualifications

Undergraduate, graduate, gap-year or recently graduated students studying (or who have studied) in a university outside of the Dominican Republic. All study-fields welcome.
